We had a chance to participate in the biggest and most popular ecommerce cnference on Dutch market. Webwinkel Vakdagen took place on the 21-22th January in Utrecht, beautiful city not far from Amsterdam. This was the 9th edition of the ecommerce event, however the first experience for us in The Netherlands.

The conference was divided into two main parts. The first one was an exhibition, where all the participants had a chance to meet the solutions providers and talk to them directly about their business. What we found interesting was the Startup Village, where the emerging companies had a chance to show their fresh ideas, approach and new solutions and technologies in the field of building online shops, distributing, marketing and other sectors.

Besides the exhibition part, the participants attended presentations in six theatres, which seemed interesting for them. Responsive Checkout was introduced to the Dutch market on the first conference day in the morning hours. We were happy to see the deep interest in our solution and ideas covering the optimiation of the checkout process in online shops.

We appreciate the very good organization of the event, although it attracted 12 000 people. The networking part gave a chance to meet ecommerce professionals and exchange experience and ideas. What was a bit surprising for us was the fact that only a few presentations were shown in English, while the rest was kept in Dutch, which we still have to improve :)

After the conference, we had a great pleasure to explore Amsterdam a little bit - we visited Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art, Vondelpark, Jordaan district and tried local specialities :)
